ANSWER is a comprehensive mathematical model for simulation of laminar or turbulent fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, with or without swirl, permanent or not. It deals with subsonic or supersonic flows.Arbitrary 2D or 3D geometry, with or without internal obstacles are accommodated. Single or multiple inlets, outlets, sources and free surface may be present, chemical reactions and combustion may occur.

The software makes possible to obtain, at each point of the studied area , local values of speed temperature and pression fields, chemical concentrations and the turbulence level.

On the right an example of numerical simulation in the Oum R Bia river.


Truck fire risks study in the future Rueil-Malmaison interchange and confined smoke propagation study. This study was realized for SETEC TPI. Our work consisted to elaborate a 3D flow model in the interchange.

ANSWER has been applied for a wide range of practical fluid flow problems in petrochemical, chemical, aerospace, mechanical and civil engineering applications. Typical petrochemical applications include flows in pipes, reactors, combustors and process chambers.
